Kusarikku: The Bull Man Demon
Kusarikku, also known as the Bull Man is an Ancient Mesopotamian mythological creature that was associated with the god of sun and justice, Shamash. He holds the gates of dawn open for Shamash. He was mentioned in the Enuma Elish as the Bison-Man or Gudalim in other historical sources.
He is one of the demons created by Tiamat however after Marduk defeated them, he became a protective deity. As a protective deity, he is often associated with the constellation of Capricorn. He is one of the seven mythological sages seen on Neo-Assyrian palace reliefs. They serve as guardians against the influence of evil spirits.
Kusarikku represents mountains. He is often shown on cylinder seals. In late iconography, he is pictured holding a banduddu “bucket.” He is also pictured holding a spade on a stela of Meli-Sipak. As a powerful gate man, no evil deity made it past him. This demon is involved in an eternal fight with demon Uridimmu.
Appearances:
He appears as a gigantic and strong bull-man standing uprightly. He is bearded and has double horns. His ears and horns are like that of a bull. Sometimes, he is seen with wings. This demon is a solar manifestation of the ferocity of the sun god, Shamash.
WORKING WITH KUSARIKKU
Kusarikku is the lord of the deserts that rules over souls that died in the desert. He is also the lord of burnt souls. Sometimes, he appears sitting on a throne in a great temple made of sand. He possesses solar energy and his power is the primal force of creation and destruction. When invoked, he gives the practitioner visions of creation and destruction, images of the burning sun, and images of making golem from clay. He commands an army of golem.

He also inspires dreams of the desert, and pictures of wastelands. He enters the body and soul of the practitioner in a surge of overwhelming energy and transforms his mundane perception into primal consciousness. He can fortify the body, transform the soul, and fill the spirit with his boundless essence. On the qlipothic Tree of Night, he might be associated with the Thaumiel qlipha.
When evoked during death magic, he appears in a long black robe but instead of a head, he appears with a bull’s skull. He holds a large diamond-shaped ruby sometimes. On entering into the Temple, the temperature rises by a few degrees and the air becomes dry and suffocating. The walls tremble when he manifests. He teaches the practitioner how to use hot and dry energy to kill his target.
Note:
The powers of this demon are abstract to human consciousness. Therefore the practitioner might find it difficult to focus and handle.

By the Blood of the Dragon which is my own Essence,
And by the Key of the Night,
I call you, Kusarikku!
Fearsome Bull Demon!
Ancient Lord of Burnt Souls!
Arise from the Sands of Time,
From forgotten deserts and barren wastelands,
With abominations of the earth,
And with monsters born in the Great Below.
Summon your harsh winds and crush the world,
Treading upon the ruins of civilizations!
I offer myself to be transformed and forged
In the furnace of your timeless flames,
Through the mysteries of your primal alchemy.
Come with unspeakable horrors of the Lost Desert,
Awaken those who sleep in hidden places,
And grant me the powers of creation and destruction!
Deliver death and misfortune upon my enemies,
Take away their vital force,
Burn their cursed souls,
And let their mortal bodies crumble to dust!
Enter this Temple of Flesh,
Let my Soul rise on your seething breath,
And enflame my dreams with hunger and terror of the Void!
I invoke you in the name of the Dragon!
In Nomine Draconis!
Ho Drakon Ho Megas!
Going Further:
Burn the parchment with the sigil and as the smoke arises, it shall carry your wishes to be united with the spirit’s essence to the planes. Offer yourself to be consumed and transformed by the energies of the demon. Visualize how the gates of your soul open up to be filled with the essence of this spirit.
Enter the trance of possession through sexual ecstasy or visual meditation. As your soul ascends beyond the boundaries of flesh, let your consciousness merge with the atavistic essence of this demon.
This demon enters the flesh forcefully and aggressively. The practitioner would feel waves of energy pressing from all around. This is followed by a tremendous heat that spreads a burning sensation all over the body. At first, that might feel painful but when the soul is lifted beyond the gates of the flesh, it becomes ecstatic.
At this point, open your mind to the boundless power of the demon. Let the visions flow freely and continue to explore the powers of this demon which are now yours to command. Let your focus be on your goal.
In works of protection and self-empowerment, this demon fortifies the aura of the practitioner by transforming it into a protective armor of golden crystalline light. In malefic works, the essence of Kusarikku can be used to weaken the body and burn the soul of the victim. Just visualize yourself in the form of this demon then breathe out the burning force into your victim’s mouth. Visualize how it spreads through his lungs burning the veins, arteries, and other organs. In the physical world, this can be manifested as a chronic respiratory disease. However, after a period of torment, your victim would certainly lose the battle.
When you wish, you can end the working and return to your mundane consciousness. Finally, thank the spirit and close the ritual.
Warning:
Rituals open the gateways of the soul and those doors can never be closed again. For that reason, I strongly advise that casual experimentation with these rituals should be avoided. Due to the complex nature of this ritual, I would suggest that you have some experience before practicing this ritual. Also, whether you are experienced or not, kindly tread with caution because these are not designed for dabblers. They are designed for serious pathworking.
