Glasya-Labolas, the demon of manslaughter and bloodshed
Glasya-Labolas is a demon mentioned within the Lesser Key of Solomon. He is a Mighty King of hell although other authors posit that he is an Earl of hell. His office is for manslaughter and bloodshed having the ability to incite people to murder others. He is also referred to as Caacrinolaas, Caassimolar, or Classyalabolas.
Glasya-Labolas
He is the twenty-fifth of the 72 demons that were trapped in a brass vessel by King Solomon during ancient times. Glasya-Labolas appears as a dog with the wings of a griffin and has 36 legions of lesser demons serving at his command. He is also mentioned within the Pseudomonarchia Daemonum, the Demonolatory Goetia, the Dictionnaire Infernal, and the Ars Goetia.
Glasya-Labolas is a day demon who likes to fly in the sunlight. This demon has the ability to tell of things both past and future in addition to having knowledge of all the sciences. He is also able to read the minds of friends and foes alike as well as gaining their love if the conjuror so desires. additionally, he can make the conjuror invisible at their request.
History
There are no mentions of Glasya-Labolas that are immediately discernible within ancient Middle-Eastern mythology although it is plausible that he was previously a popular pagan god. The advent of Judeo-Christian based religions resulted in his name being Latinized and his subsequent castigation as a demon and resident of hell.
The Pseudomonarchia Daemonum states the following about this demon:
“Glasya Labolas, alias Caacrinolaas, or Caassimolar, is a great president, who commeth foorth like a dog, and hath wings like a griffen, he giveth the knowledge of arts, and is the captaine of all mansleiers: he understandeth things present and to come, he gaineth the minds and love of freends and foes, he maketh a man go invisible, and hath the rule of six and thirtie legions.”

Appearance
The demon appears as a dog with the wings of a griffin in demon form. At the request of the conjuror, he can also take on a humanoid form. In this alternative form he appears as a fairly young teenage boy with blonde hair, white wings, and comely features. His skin is also described as slightly tanned and he flies around in circles.

Alternatively, the demon can be summoned for divinity purposes as he is able to tell of things both past and present. Alternatively, he can be summoned to attract the love of foes and friends alike as well as bestowing esteem upon the conjuror’s request.
There is also a malevolent side associated with this potent demon. His office is to inspire manslaughter and bloodshed among mankind in addition to creating situations of danger, He can thus be summoned to attack the enemies of the conjuror whereupon he inflicts violence and dishes out death as consistent with his mandate.

Ritual Time: This a day demon who is strongest between July 18th and July 22nd as well as between November 23rd and December 2nd. He should be summoned preferably when the sun is out.

- This demon is very potent and volatile while he wastes no time in meting out violence and death. For this reason, he should only be summoned by experienced personnel who are more likely to experience desirable outcomes.
- This demon should be treated with the utmost respect to prevent any instance of provocation that may result in malevolence or undesired outcomes during the ritual.
- The conjuror should also take care to protect themselves from otherworldly energies by mentally picturing a protection circle and entering it.
Steps:
- It is necessary to meditate in preparation of meeting such a powerful and volatile entity so that one’s chakras are balanced. Meditation also aids with concentration on the conjuror’s part.

- The yellow / orange candle is placed at the center of the alter (presumably at the center of the sigil) and the offering of storax incense is made.
- While the incense is burning, the demon’s enn can be hummed in triple repetitions until a manifestation can be seen in the flames and smoke of incense.
- After praising the demon and stating one’s wishes, he should be dismissed with the necessary respect before snuffing out the candle(s).
