Timing:
- Banishing spells are timed to coincide with the waning moon. The logic is as the moon diminishes, so will the unwanted person.

Is a banishing spell the same as a binding spell?
Banishing spells and binding spells are very different
- Binding spells attach something or, more frequently, someone to you with great intensity, often permanently
- Banishing spells remove something or, more frequently, someone from your presence, often permanently
